HISTORY
Many people just assume that Caric is always there to destroy the fun in everything; as if his only purpose is to make sure people stay in line. That's not the case at all. When someone becomes an Archangel, especially with the history Caric has, a massive weight of responsibility for the good of the universe is put on your shoulders.

Before the fall of the devil and born into a family of archangels, Caric was familiar with Heaven's process, becoming one the most prominent enforcers of the realm and protecting it from any outside threats. He worked closely with the Morningstar family, befriending one of its youngest siblings, Limbo. Both worked closely together and made their work something to enjoy rather than stress over. However, when the Morningstars' expressed disloyalty for the heavens, including Limbo, Caric was made to spy on his best friends, someone he would come to have feelings for. After the death of the head Archangel and council member, Memphis Aurelius, Caric was promoted to assist their replacement, Michael Morningstar, who defeated his brothers in the rebellion and sentenced them to banishment from the Heavens.

Caric was instructed to pull the wings from all who were sentenced, numbing himself to his emotions to get the work done despite his best friend's screams crying out for mercy. After the shock of betraying people he once work alongside with, Caric became a cold and unforgiving force to be reckoned with, prioritising the safety of The Heavens and the balance of nature above all else. Nothing is more important his work. However despite his dedication, Caric is subjected to the new archangel's high expectations, always receiving criticism. buried under the crushing weight of responsibility and pressure, Caric is slowly becoming more and more dissatisfied with his life in the Heavens. However his loyalty never wavers. Despite not being allowed he began to break certain rules within the Heavens to achieve more, to gain the praise he desired, with the hope that one day he would rule as Archangel of the Heavens. Even if it means working alongside the enemy.

PERSONALITY
​
Caric is a very strong-willed force to be reckoned with. When he dedicates his mind and soul to something, he will stop at nothing to do what is right, even if it means bending the rules. Caric never puts himself above any of his tasks. Although it seems he's selfish and arrogant, whatever he's fighting for, He's never doing it for himself.
​
That said, when something gets in his way, Caric's temper pushes him toward more drastic actions, overreacting or using his powers when there's no need, just to get something done. When someone breaks the rules or tries to stop him, Caric is sometimes consumed by rage.
​
Caric merely wants the best for everyone, keeping Heaven's best interests in mind. For those he cares for, which are few in numbers, he will stop at nothing to make sure they're safe or avenged. However, when it comes to his duty, he will always put it first due to the way he was raised and the strictness of his father as well as the high expectations God has for him.
​
With all of this said, another side of Caric awaits freedom from responsibility, Caric being close to breaking from his traditional ways and finally doing something for himself for the first time in his existence.

Users of this power are immune to Heaven and the eternal joy it brings. All angels possess this but can use it when they please unless a higher power suppresses/strengthens it. Caric's immunity to the eternal joy of heaven is strengthened as a punishment.
